Clarissa has degrees in problem solving and managing information, both of which she uses as best as she can in her writing. She has had a varied career, during which she has graded potatoes, pulled pints, sold books door-to-door, provided tech support, wrote online learning material, and managed staff. She now lives in the Netherlands with her family, where she writes as much as they will let her. She enjoys the puzzle of creating a new world and tying up all the details into a story.
She blogs about what she’s doing and things that interest her. Some (mainly older) posts are about libraries, universities, or bibliometrics; others will be about the differences living abroad; or about families, food and growing up and whatever else she feels she wants to write about! Increasingly she is writing about writing, as she is taking this more seriously.
She’s not comfortable sharing photos of her children so any photo she posts of them, or any other person, won’t show their face. She welcomes comments, although they are moderated and she will delete any she considers to be offensive.
