For the last month I’ve been receiving daily emails about living a creative life, These were organised by Meghan Genge and Jamie Ridler and they called this series “Love Leters from Trail Makers”. This was 32 messages from different women who work in creative fields. They spoke on a variety of messages covering following your intuition, searching for the magic in your life, connecting to your inner feminine and generally supporting the reader on whatever path we’re on right now.
I have found them inspiring, reassuring, challenging and comforting. They have been a mix of written words, videos, audio files, pictures, and activities to do. Some of them have resonated more with me than others, but they all made me think deeply about what it is that I’m doing and what I want to do. I feel like I’m on the cusp of the future, and I am so lucky to be able to spend this time exploring what (& how) I get to move forwards. I can succeed, I just need to set myself in the right direction!
The picture shows some colouring gems that were part of one of the love letters, combined with a self portrait. It’s been school holidays this week and one of the things we did was draw life size self portraits of the children. I didn’t do mine life size, but I still joined in. And then the children coloured in some of my gems too. So they got a dose of positive feelings too!
